Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
- We keep your workouts, notes, goals and account details so the app can work.
- Messages your phone can't work out by itself go to our AI provider, Anthropic, in the United States. So do photos and notes you choose to import.
- Body weight and protein stay on your phone and never reach our servers or the AI.
- We don't sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
- You can export your data or delete your account in the app at any time.
1. Who we are
Beor is run by TEKGSP, Lahore, PK (“we”). We decide how your data is used in Beor and are responsible for it. Questions or requests: hello@beor.app.
2. What we collect and why
| Data | What it's used for |
|---|---|
| Account: email, name, password (stored as a secure hash), or your Google sign-in details. Guests have an anonymous account with no email. | Signing you in and keeping your data in your account |
| Your training: exercises, sets, reps, weights, times, sports, gyms, goals, usual week, notes, and the text of the messages you log with | Saving and showing your log, records and reports |
| Beor's memory: a short summary of your routine and things you've told Beor to keep in mind | Helping Beor understand your next messages |
| Settings and plan: units, reminders, trial or plan status, promo codes used | Running the app and your access to it |
| Feedback: your rating and message, with basic app and phone details | Answering you and improving Beor |
| Usage records: which Beor tools answered a message (never its text), AI message counts, which reminders were tapped, and which prompts led to creating an account | Limiting AI costs, stopping abuse and improving the app |
| Security: for guests, a salted hash of the internet address (not the address itself); ordinary server logs held by our hosting provider | Stopping abuse and keeping the service safe |
3. Health-related information
Workouts and notes can reveal things about your health, for example if you write that your knee hurt. Only write what you're happy for Beor to store and process. When you first open Beor, we ask you to agree to this. By tapping OK or sending your first message, and by choosing to log this kind of detail, you consent to us processing it to provide Beor. We keep a record of when you agreed. You can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy & AI, or remove a single detail by deleting that entry. Beor can't work without this consent, so withdrawing deletes your account and data. This won't affect what was processed before.
4. What stays on your phone
- Body weight and protein are saved only on your phone. Messages about them are handled there and aren't sent to our servers or the AI. We can't back them up or recover them, so export them before changing phones.
- Watch data (Android): if you connect Health Connect, Beor reads your exercise sessions, heart rate and calories. Heart rate and calories stay on your phone. The session itself (its type, date and duration) is saved to your Beor log. iPhone will work the same way through Apple Health once that's available.
- Today's chat cards and copies of your log are kept on your phone so the app opens quickly.
5. Permissions Beor may ask for
- Microphone and speech recognition: to turn your voice into text. Beor uses on-device recognition where your phone supports it. On some Android phones, your phone's own speech service may process the audio instead. We don't receive or keep the audio, only the resulting text if you send it.
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to import a photo of workout notes.
- Notifications: for your rest timer and reminders. These are set on your phone.
- Health Connect: only if you turn on watch import, as described above.
6. How Beor uses AI
Many simple logs and questions are handled on your phone with no AI. When they can't be, Anthropic's Claude AI receives your message along with what it needs to reply: your recent training, goals, notes and Beor's memory. This includes a guest's very first such message. Photos and notes you import go to Anthropic to find the workout in them; we don't save the photo or pasted notes to your account.
Anthropic acts as our service provider. Under its commercial terms, it doesn't use this data to train its models. AI replies can be wrong, so check what's been saved.
Beor doesn't use AI to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Who processes your data
We use these providers, only as needed to run Beor:
- Supabase (database, sign-in, server functions), hosted in Ireland (EU)
- Anthropic (AI), United States
- Google, if you choose Continue with Google
- An encrypted backup storage provider, holding locked nightly copies of the database
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and handles beor.app email
- Have I Been Pwned: when you set a password, your phone checks whether it has leaked by sending only the first characters of a scrambled version, never the password
When paid plans launch, Apple or Google will handle your payment, and a subscription service will tell us your plan status. We never see your card details.
We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of selling or reorganising the business, in which case this policy continues to apply. We don't sell your personal data.
8. Transfers outside your country
Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, Ireland and Pakistan, which may not offer the same protection as your own. We choose providers that protect data under their contracts with us.
9. How long we keep it
- Your account and log: until you delete them or your account. If you stop using Beor, we may tell you before deleting inactive accounts.
- Guest accounts: may be deleted 30 days after the guest period ends.
- Usage records: which tools answered a message and which prompts led to creating an account, 90 days.
- AI message counts and reminder taps: until you delete your account.
- Guest address hashes: about 2 days.
- Message delivery receipts: 3 days.
- Backups: deleted data can stay in encrypted backups for up to 14 days.
- Anthropic: deletes what it receives within 30 days under its standard terms. Anything flagged for breaking its usage rules can be kept for up to 2 years. Our other providers may keep data for a limited time under their own terms.
10. Your choices and rights
- Export: Settings → Export your data.
- Correct: edit anything in the chat, History or Settings.
- Delete: Settings → your account → Delete account. Other ways to delete.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or move your data, to limit or object to how it's used, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@beor.app and we'll reply within the time the law allows. You can also complain to your local privacy regulator, such as the OAIC in Australia. California residents can use these same routes, and we won't treat you differently for doing so.
11. Security
Data travels encrypted, each account can only reach its own rows in our database, and our backups are encrypted. No service can promise perfect security, but we'll tell you and the authorities about a serious breach where the law requires it.
12. Age
Beor is for people aged 16 or over. If you think someone younger has given us data, write to us and we'll delete it.
13. This website
beor.app has no ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and its fonts are served from this site. Cloudflare handles the basic technical data, such as internet addresses, needed to deliver and protect the site.
14. Changes
We'll update this page when things change, and tell you in the app or by email if a change is important.
